The front really is just clued on and you can save the glue as the front can be just stuck back using the glue again. Do not use anything sharp as it will easily scratch the front plate and the silvery rim. It should also be noted that the silvery rim does not have anything to do with opening the case. It is just glued to the outside of the backside of the speakers. Preferably start from the top and go forward the bottom. Be extra careful when you reach the screen and the "quantum buttons". The screen is just hanging there without any attachments and there is a small plastic piece on top of the buttons so the front panel does not actually touch the electronics. I managed to crack this piece into two but it does not seem to matter too much.
Once you get the top open there are 8 screws on the front. Just open them and the box will open. Be careful, though, the cables attaching everything are not that long.
